Before booking your tours to Georgia, check the recent changes for Covid-19 travel restrictions. As of October 2021, different entry rules are applied to vaccinated and non-vaccinated travelers entering Georgia.
Vaccinated travelers visiting Georgia by land or sea should present documents confirming full vaccination against Covid-19 with any vaccine and a negative PCR test, while those traveling by air are required to only provide a certificate of full course of vaccination (any Covid-19 vaccine). If you’re traveling by land or sea, you may also enter Georgia if you provide documents confirming recovery from Covid-19 in the last 100 days, a single dose of any vaccination listed by the WHO for emergency use (conducted at least 14 days before visiting Georgia), as well as a negative PCR test conducted within 72 hours before entering the country. As for those traveling by air, only documents confirming recovery from Covid-19 in the last 100 days and a single dose of any vaccination listed by the WHO for emergency use (conducted at least 14 days before visiting Georgia). These regulations apply to vaccinated citizens of all countries traveling to Georgia from any country.
Different entry rules apply to non-vaccinated travelers. Traveling by air or land, non-vaccinated nationals or residents of 64 countries must provide a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours (96 hours for those traveling from the United States) prior to entering Georgia, and take a second PCR test at their own expense on the 3rd day of arrival in the country. Moreover, travelers should fill in a special application form before arriving in Georgia.
